Electricity

Drakespeare
One of the advantages in being a dragon is that you
dont´t have to worry about electric bill:)

After doodleing a while with dragons,I end up combining the 2 themes from
IF and Monday Artday(electricity and monsters) and this is,
a new member in dragon´s family:
''Drakespeare'',a voracious books devorator
well,I actually just find out that someone else invented this name before,
so maybe I should re-baptise him:))

I´m out of paper
I used instead some math pages

Nice entry. I like the washy feel and I actually think the squares give a nice feel to the whole thing.

What fun dragons! They're full of character, and the illo itself is great. I like the way you used the yellow.

Hello, Raluca. Thank you for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment. I hope you will visit again.

I think it is very important that you should change your profile statement. The FIRST THING you say is "I am not an illustrator." That's not true! And it is not what you really WANT to say is it? You should say "I am an illustrator" - because that is what you are and if you can't say it, then how can you possibly do it?

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR ART - I think your illustrations are delightful!

Hello Raluca.. thanks so much for your message on my blog :) I am touched that you see other worlds in my work... glad that you like it :)
Interesting about my name in Romanian - yes it means rhyme in Greek too I think, and in Maori "five" or a "hand" :)
Lovely to see your work too.. it's great... Best wishes to you from Scotland and sorry I don't know any Romanian :) Though I would love to go there...

I agree the square give a nice feel to your works! it's interesting when artists run out of stuff and have to improvise... brings out an extra level of creativity.
I also agree that you should call yourself an illustrator in your introduction.
cheers!
